Christmas 2008 Part 2

I bought a new camera!!

We went out to Jason and Michele's house in Lancaster to celebrate Christmas with Marsha's family. It was tight with everyone in their house, but the kids had fun and the white elephant exchange game was hilarious as always!

Christmas 2008

Bah Humbug! That is usually me, but it was much more relaxed this year. We went to 4:00 mass on Christmas Eve, and then hopefully started a fun new tradition. We met the Daniels and Twente families at a local bar for some drinks, food and fun for the kids with pool and wii. Christmas morning came and Cameron waited until 5:00 to come into our bedroom (ugh). The boys got tons of stuff (more to come Saturday in Lancaster I am sure). Went over to mom's house to have dinner and exchange gifts with my brother Don and his family and my mom. My sister Heather was at her father in-law's. Ate way too much and played some cards. Merry Christmas to all our family and friends!!

Side note, It appears that I have some water spots on the camera lens. :(

St Matthew Basketball

Lost a tough one today 35-21 to St Brigid. They had a kid that is the second coming of Larry freakin Bird. Boys played hard and did not give up.

Lions Baseball in December

What a tremendous turnout for our Christmas party! The boys spent most of the night outside in the cold playing football. Thanks to everyone for coming and all of the food( I may not have to worry about food all week while I stay home with the boys on vacation!!). We had a fabulous evening with friends! Thanks again and Merry Christmas!

Hoop/Nerd Fest

Griffin and I took in the OSU/Iona basketball game. Little did we know that it would turn into a Dungeons and Dragons party. It was Star Wars day at Value City Arena, complete with star wars character basketball game at halftime. Ohio State won the game by the way 71-53.

Merry Christmas! The Sh*tter Was Full!

Well not really, but this time of year, how could you not use Cousin Eddie's famous words! There was a lot of water in the front yard when I got home last night. Turns out it was a feeder line off of the main water line. The feeder line to my neighbor's house across the street(ha ha). All is repaired now, and I am home with two sick boys.......JOY

St Matthew - White vs St Pius X - Gold

A great game today played by at St Paul by the Mustangs! Final score 22-4. Incredible defense backed up by Patrick's hot shooting (had 16 of the 22 points). Cameron had some real good passes and two good looks from the outside that rattled out. Next Sunday they are back at St Paul @ 3:00 against St Brigid Gold

Isles/Jackets

The Isles came to town, and as the other 5 trips here...Lost. Well the boys had fun and got pucks from the Isles before the game.

Bucks Hoops vs Butler and Mom's Birthday(a couple days early)

A fun afternoon of Buckeyes hoops turned into a very close game. This due to Ohio State missing 12 of 28 free throws (including 9 in the 2nd half). The Bucks pulled it out 54-51 and extended the nations longest win streak to 11 games. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!

9-2??????????

WTF Islanders??

This should make Saturday interesting. Should still be fun to get up against the glass and watch them warm up. Hopefully Cameron and Griffin can get pucks again.

St Matthew Hoops Scrimmage

Cameron's basketball season with St Matthew started today with two scrimmages against both Holy Spirit teams. Cameron played point guard in the first game. They played 4 six minute quarters with a running clock for these scrimmages. They lost the first game 14-10, but against the other Holy Spirit team won 18-4. Cameron played both guard positions and small forward in the second game. The boys are really improving. Should be a fun season.

Winter Hits Gahanna

First measurable snow hits Gahanna. We got about 2 inches today. Good thing there was football on TV.

What a great weekend we had in Belleville, Illinois. The boys had a blast at the St Louis zoo. I should also mention that I got my share of Imo's pizza!!!
